Welcome Welcome
Hi Friends! As you know I'm getting hip surgery on March 24th for a torn labrum, bone spurs, cartalidge damage etc. We don't know the recovery timeline at the moment. Our best guess is that I will be out of all work for 2-3 weeks, and then out of performing work for around 6 months.
I made this page as organizing data is what I do when I get stressed! Plus now I can send this page when anyone asks for more details. :)
I am thankful to be able to have my Mom fly out, so she will be able to support the immediate recovery as well as Matan. But, I will never turn down support from friends!
So you want to help support my recovery...
Here are some ways! Message me on instagram/facebook/email or fill out the contact form below if you want to get in touch about any of this. I don't want to put my email here because it'll get snatched up by the Bots before you can say "torn labrum".
PHYSICAL SUPPORT
-Bring us food so we don't have to worry about cooking!
-Come hang out and help us clean/tidy up while I'm on crutches!
-Run errands/pick up groceries for us! I won't be able to drive for the first three weeks.
EMOTIONAL SUPPORT
-Send me snail mail! I love mail.
-Send me chill book, movie, and podcast recommendations.
-Send me photos of cute cats!
WORK SUPPORT
I'm hoping to get on disability to cover my teaching job, but I won't be able to get any coverage for what I will lose from not being able to perform. Thus I am looking to do more work in the following:
-Act Creation Lessons: I have lots of experience choreographing and coaching act creation in circus! Contact me if you are interested in working on an existing act or want to start working on a new project. I can send you my resume and acts I have created for myself and others.
-Website Design: Guess who created this beautiful website? Twas I! Need a website for your circus career, stamp collecting hobby, job as a marine fisherman? I have all your web design needs covered!
Lastly, I am fortunate that my insurance is covering the surgery but I will still have plenty of expenses surrounding it, and as seen in the above paragraphs, will be out of one of my jobs. Thus, while I do not expect it, you are welcome to venmo or paypal me if that's a way you want to support me!
