Act Creation and Choreography
Choreography is like a treasure hunt- or so it is to Meghan McClure. Meghan knows there are treasures in the form of circus skills and characters hidden inside each artist she works with. Her job is to bring them to light and present them onstage! She loves working with all levels of circus artists and creating acts that are unique to the people performing them.
Want to take your act to the next level? Have an idea or a sequence but not sure how to start? Meghan has been choreographing a variety of circus acts since 2018 and knows all about the writers block or that 'this just doesn't look quite right" feeling. Lessons include movement quality exercises targeted to the individual artist, character work, brainstorming ideas, and feedback sessions. Her goal is to work with the artist to create an act they are excited and proud to perform!
Interested? Set up a free 15min session to meet and discuss your act ideas!
Note, while Meghan works with all disciplines of circus, she cannot teach any aerial skills online. For aerial acts you must either be in a professionally rigged space with other coaches in the room, or you can work on ground exercises and video review.
