With all the Christmas shows happening during the winter, Constructive Interference wanted to create a show that encompassed more celebrations, to reach into the rich culture that is the winter season.
The show explores rituals and memories from the cast's childhood. From a kindergartener weaving through an advent spiral, sledding down sand dunes, to frying food surrounded by family.
Each cast member was tasked with writing or drawing a ritual or memory from their winters past, then the outcomes were traded amongst the performers, becoming prompts for their acts. Each act in the show is the interpretation of another's memory.
Celebrate the warmth of bed, the flickering of candles, the food, family, solace, and music that is winter.
